Girlfriend Jeans

It had been a while since I started looking for a pair of jeans to be my go-to pants for Spring. I wanted to steer away from the distressed skinny (my wardrobe is already full of those) and invest in a more classic straight fit. My goal was to get something both comfortable and flattering at the same time, so after trying all sorts of trendy jeans styles like mom, wide leg and relaxed boyfriend, I finally settled with the girlfriend jeans!

This style is still quite fitted, but not so snuggle in the ankles, giving a more relaxed look that I find perfect for warmer days.  I specially like how this girlfriend jeans are high waisted and cropped at the ideal length, making it fun to play with outfit proportions, like pairing it with a shorter suede jacket and loafers.
